I entered the cafe extremely busy and waited patiently in the queue I had most visibility on my 2 dogs and glanced at the menu, as I was half way in the queue the cafe owner approached me and said one of my dogs has had a mishap assuming this was my dogs as I was the only one in the cafe with dogs and someone had stood in dog poo unbeknown. After I left the cafe I was still being slandered outside by two biker men and he was staring at me as he came with food for them. I took my dogs strolling and they had a poo each as soon as I stepped on grass and if anyone knows chihuahuas they poo usually once on a walk maybe twice over a long stroll it's minimal, I have been the cafe prior and it's never occurred. I 100 percent am not certain they even know if this was my dog and the whole approach around me was horrendous for a dog friendly cafe this could have been as simple as someone with a dog came in saw the queue and left or someone after food from the tables with a dog, no one witnessed my dogs doing the deed this was an assumption clearly as they walked in a mess I had to clean Infront of everyone, shocking approach,I have been a manager in retail seen actual human mess cleaned this discretely and addresses aside, this was risen to me in a queue Infront of loads of people and I was made to clean this alone Infront of people under an assumption, I left so quickly and did not eat and I had to sit with family uncomfortable while they had thier food edging to go for being...
Read moreFirst visit cause we wanted to walk round the reservoir. Good choice for a quick bite or more is great for us .. they do Spam muffins !! .. we had one of those and egg on toast plus tea for two .. £11.50 . Service is friendly and chatty .. will go back when we next visit . We parked in a small car park near the cafe .. we should have started our walk from there but we drove up to Abbey Village and parked there. Think it turned out to be a longer walk for us so we’ll start at the cafe next time . But whichever it’s a good way to start or end a walk round Roddlesworth . Also .. in the cafe there’s a brilliant one way viewing window where you can watch the birds on the feeders they have .. we saw a greater spotted woodpecker , nuthatch , robin, and a blackbird feeding it’s baby while we were there .. can’t wait till...
Read moreIf you want microwaved meals then this is the place for you! I could see them microwaving everything! And eating beans before putting them on the plates! Absolutely disgusting. Horrendous cafe, service is absolutely appalling and the food was over cooked wouldn’t even feed my dog the food I was given! I would give it no stars if I could! The manager was very rude and obnoxious, I have honestly never met anyone who is as much as an ego maniac in my life! How this cafe is still running is beyond me! The hygiene of the kitchen from what I could see was in the worst state I have ever seen! If it was up to me I would have the place shut down for hygiene. I would definitely not recommend this cafe to anyone! I honestly feel sick just thinking...
