Sanders Fish And Chips — Restaurant in England

Came here for lunch about 1.35pm and they were closing at 2pm. We ordered to take out as we understood they were a bit hesitant to dine in our group of 8 as it was coming close to closing time but we were fine with that and ate in the car. The atmosphere inside seemed so nice. It was very well maintained and well ventilated. We used the toilets also also they were clean and well equipped. Now for the food.. the fish was lovely and delicious in a crispy batter. The chips were good too. We always carry a bottle of ketchup with us and it comes in so handy! The price was very reasonable. The parking at the back was full so we had to park in the front. The service was good and the people were lovely. There was a house right close to it that had a really well maintained front garden and it made the whole area seem so welcoming. Would definitely recommend...

Decided to try the new gluten free range last night and it didn’t disappoint! First time in years me and my children have enjoyed a chip shop dinner!

My daughter had a kids box which was enormous and really good value, she had gluten free sausage and chips; my son and I had the gluten free fish again a massive portion and tasted delicious. We tried the gluten free curry sauce too which was really good! Tad spicy but my 7 year old managed it!

We watched the server getting the order ready and it was reassuring to see separate utensils being used and the gluten free food all stored separately after being cooked. We even had gluten free vinegar which was the icing on the cake!

Sanders fish and chip shop really surprised me, all of the waitresses were above and beyond polite, attentive, personable and when the food came out, the portions were extremely generous, not to mention very fresh and tasty, also loved my laté included in the lunch deal! Plus we were given the ok to takeaway our leftovers, mum was really happy trying the senior save (60years+) for her lunch, plenty enough for another meal, just a lovely atmosphere and from my visit today I cannot wait to return.
