Shiva Cafe — Restaurant in England

Very rude.... Pre-ordered a day in advance, order was cancelled the time it should have been arriving without explanation. On contacting Deliveroo they said the reason was because the restaurant was closed, though I knew this wasn't the case but called to check. They answered, were very rude and abrupt. I asked if they were doing Deliveroo orders, was told not today and tried to put the phone down on me, I asked about tomorrow (as it's possible to order on Deliveroo, though I don't want to waste my time if it's to be cancelled again) and his response was "I just don't know, alright, bye". Very shocked at how rude you were and how you wouldn't let me talk at all, this is not the behaviour expected from a business - certainly not one starting out and trying to gain a good reputation. Even after the cancellation I was willing to give you guys the benefit of the doubt and reorder, though I'll absolutely take my money elsewhere and will be recommending others do the same. I'm a local born and bred here, lived here all my life - I'm sure I don't need to tell you how quickly word gets...

Food was ok but the wait was unbelievable!!! Like the other reviews order the day before. One hot chocolate to take away took 25min! I wouldn’t mind if it was very busy but not that busy. Wonderful cafe and all the staff are really friendly and welcoming. We’ve enjoyed some delicious breakfasts, fantastic Supper clubs and most recently a delicious Sunday Roast.
