The Little Cornish Pantry — Restaurant in England

Decent caff with friendly staff 😊 Unfortunately for us service was quite slow as we went at a busy time, which was fine. Was underwhelmed by the fact that all food and drink came in takeaway containers, though?! Not really the fancy cream tea we were hoping for. No sugar with the tea until I asked for it (even then was handed only one sachet). Some of our party opted to have scones instead of sandwiches so we asked if they could arrive at the same time, sadly as they were so busy they arrived long after the others had finished eating. Sandwiches were tasty with homemade chutney, but scones for the cream tea were no longer fresh (quite hard/stale) 😕 and we weren't told that the cream tea came with blackcurrant jam rather than traditional strawberry /raspberry. Just had the most divine sausage and bacon bap at #thelittlecornishpanty If your heading to or past Newquay, stop in for amazing and delicious food. The packaging is all sustainably sourced and made from sugar cane , so fully compostable. And they have a great vegan range as well.

Price wise, it's not your cheap and cheerful prices, but for the size portions, it is reasonably well priced. All the food is cooked fresh to order (apart from the pasties, sausage rolls and cakes) so you will have a little wait while your order is cooked.

The staff are lovely, and will advise you, without you asking, if any product you've ordered contains nuts. Bravo to them for that.

On the whole, a great little eatery with inside and outside seating. It's spotlessly clean and very welcoming. Wholeheartedly...

Such a little gem of a Cafe near Newquay. We visited I think most days when on holiday here last month. The bacon cobs are out of this world and the lovely ladies took on that we love our bacon crispy and never failed to deliver. The brown sauce was also lovely, so sweet and an excellent addition to the bacon bap.. The Jolly's cola was a welcomed drink also, the 1st time I have tried but won't be the last has I brought some home with us... We also brought the cakes whilst on our visit and again delicious as was the cornish cider.

The ladies always took time out to ask how our days were and so friendly.

See you again next September we've already booked our cottage again and can't wait to leave Nottinghamshire behind for another two weeks and sample the bacon baps...
