Called in to the drive thru on a Sunday for a takeaway coffee. I liked the fact that this establishment was open on a Sunday to begin with. Drive thru wasn't easy to navigate through. It was quite difficult to steer the car around the designated area. On top of that, the barista didn't appear to understand me or my very simple order. (Americano with an extra shot). I had to repeat myself multiple times. I'm not so sure the voice/mic / headset set-up works correctly! The cups given to us were flimsy and didn't include sleeve protection. They were too hot to handle. Prices didn't differ too much from your regular drive thru coffee, slightly cheaper but not by much. The coffee, in my opinion, is not a patch on the coffee from Starbucks, so I won't be returning. The drive-thru was too hard to use. It took too long to make the coffee, and the prices aren't really good.

We were served by Ellie and Alina in the drive through today and they made the perfect cuppa (I’m fussy and they were fab), they were so positive and put a smile on our faces. 10/10 service, these girls deserve a raise! xx

Coffee available at new drive thru including Cappuccino Espresso Latte with a long menu. Lots of parking and outside dining available at this new restaurant near Peterlee and the A19

BEWARE PARKING FINES £100

Lovely coffee and really great service in store, but the parking situation is a trap. I ended up with a £100 fine because I didn’t realize you had to enter your registration on a screen inside—an easy mistake to make in my opinion.

The fine goes up after 14 days. The letter takes 5 days to arrive, which left me with only 9 days to act. I emailed Siesta asking for a receipt to prove I was a customer, and they took 6 days to reply, leaving me with just 3 days to try and resolve it. I disputed the fine and only got an automated response saying it takes 28 days to review—so the cost goes up before you even have a chance to be heard.

It feels like a total scam. You can dispute, but the process drags you past the 14-day deadline, the price increases, and they can then reject the dispute on a technicality to take even more money. I didn’t want to gamble, so I ended up paying today.

I won’t be using this place again, which is a shame because I like supporting small, local businesses. I’ve seen Siesta claim in other reviews that the fines aren’t their fault because they don’t manage them directly, but it’s still their car park. Their customers are the ones being stung over a small mistake, and some responsibility needs to be taken if people are going to feel safe using the business. I hope Siesta realize how damaging the Parking Eye system is and rethink using it.

It's not as good as it was. Staff don't seem as friendly as before. Prices have matched or exceeded other chains now, when they used to be a bit cheaper due to location and the fact they're a very small franchise. Paid for a reusable cup each for my family of 4 so that we'd not have disposables and was told these would mean we always received 10% discount on drinks, but they took that offer away as soon as they'd sold all the cups. Felt very disingenuous and a bit of a fool for being taken in by the offer.

Very rare for them to have full stock by 2pm. More often than not they've run out of Oat Milk, so I'd expect them to order more seeings as they are always running out. Rarely have all the selection of sandwiches available, especially the veggie options. Hardly bother with this place now. It's not the same. Decent coffee but I find Starbucks to be a better atmosphere with a...

Called in Siesta coffee while out with my friend and the dog in tow. I ordered our usual cappuccino drinks and paid for these at counter, informed them we where sitting outside due to having Dog with us, we usually only have to wait a short while to receive our drinks. But today, we sat talking for over 30 mins outside, and no signs of any service at all. I went back into cafe to ask where are our drinks after waiting over 30 mins, there reply from another staff member said to me, that there was no record of my order, was the reason for the delay. There happy to take my money and sign my loyalty card, and give me my change. I really don’t know what happened to the service here, it’s really bad today. Once they realised there mistake, they where very apologetic for there mistakes made. I’ve been a loyal customer here since it opened too. Hopefully this doesn’t...
