Father's Day. I ordered four hot meals with four drinks. Our number was called so I went to collect and politely pointed out to the server,the owner I assume, that it was incorrect and there were some items missing. She asked what I'd ordered, so I reminded her. Again, politely. She was quite rude, checked the receipt and came back to tell me that the items I had were what I'd paid for. I was getting impatient now and replied that it wasn't what I'd asked for so it was their mistake. She asked what was missing, I told her. She said I'd have to wait in the queue for the missing items and charged me the full amount. The lad serving did say that he probably didn't hear what I'd said when he took my order. Fair enough, this happens, I'm fine with that. I was really annoyed with her rudeness, lack of any accountability and no apology. The food was bloody awful too, as though it had been cooked hours before and then reheated. Greasy, dry and stale. So bad, even the seagulls didn't try and pinch any! Incredibly rude staff. Went in whilst on an anniversary trip with my girlfriend and we were met with a somewhat aggressive woman at the counter. When we decided not to buy anything after how she was acting she seemed even more angered and muttering to herself. We then left and decided we would go somewhere else for our food. 100% skip this if you're in the area. We went to the place on the other side of the bridge. They do really great burgers, but don't expect to get one in the afternoon. Been caught out by this before, so I specifically asked them what time they were stopping cooking them that day. They told me '4:30', so when I went to order at 3:45, very very disappointed to be told, 'the griddle had been turned off, no burgers - chips only'. This is also despite the menu still being out advertising the full range. With a long drive home, I'd rather eat a proper burger on the beach than a plastic one in a services.
