Avoid if you like indian food. Very poor. We will never come back here. Potentially the worst food we have ever had. Firstly, service was very poor. We waited about 2 hours and 15 minutes and we had still not received our main courses. Meanwhile we could see around 50 takeaway orders flying out of the kitchen and staff rushing to get them out on time - annoying. When the mains finally arrived we ordered 4 separate and very different curries. I ordered a madras and my wife ordered the chefs special tandoori butter chicken - both of these looked and tasted exactly the same apart from the madras was slightly spicier (please see picture attached - those are 2 separate curries, one is madras and one is butter chicken!!!??). We also ordered dopiaza that tasted the same and a tikka which tasted the same but was red. All of these curries had minimal flavour and looked like baby food. Very unappetising. Meat from the tandoori grill sizzlers was dry and overcooked with minimal flavour. Staff were innatentive. We had to ask several times when we wanted more drinks and not a single person came to us and asked if the food was nice or if we were having a good time. The main goal to Staff appeared to be dealing with the orders for takaway whilst neglecting all of the customers in their restaurant. We didnt finish our mains and complained to the manager and ended up paying nothing - which was the only positive to come from the night. We have never not paid for food before when eating out but really, it was that bad. We left still hungry.

Very average food in a run down restaurant, with noisy people at the bar and not great service. The food was ok but nothing special and the naan wasn't good at all... Flat, soft and stodgy! Prices are good but I guess you get what you pay for!

Spice Heaven is was once again excellent tonight. Food quality, ambience, and service all exceptional. Well we will definitely be back. Naan breads are quite a size.

A table for 9 was booked for the Indian meal. Plates were hot so our meal didn't get cold. The restaurant itself was not very warm inside. Possibly to do with the amount of times the door was opened for takeaway orders. The food was very tasty and the chicken in the curry dishes was very tender, unfortunately the Madras was not as hot in taste as it had previously been. For some reason the starters of 3 onion bhajis came with about a teaspoon of shredded carrot on the plate, no other salad. Usually there is iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber. Not sure if they forgot to put it on the plate or they are not putting it on anymore. Don't think we will be going...

I'd driven past this place several times so decided to pay a visit with the family. The place has a nice comfortable atmos, but we were placed next to a busy internal doorway while other tables were free. Not really an issue, just a bit of unnecessary disturbance from passing punters. The service however was very swift and the food was agreed by us all to be particularly good and probably the best in the area. Beware the 'duvet' Naans though, they are delicious and huge. One per pair of diners is plenty. Bottom line is great food and service, good sized portions with plenty of meat and four very happy diners. Highly...
