Spirit Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in England

We recently had an evening meal at this restaurant. It was our first time and we were very impressed. The building is beautiful on the inside and the out. There is ample parking at the front. Upon entry there is a drinks area to the left and the dining rooms are to the right. The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is very cosy. The place is spotlessly clean. There is a limited menu for food but I do believe in quality over quantity. There are Vegetarian not Vegan options listed, however the kitchen can alter any dish to suit the dietary needs of the customer. The food we had was beautifully presented and very yummy although the portion sizes could have been a little bigger to fulfil those with a healthy appetite. I was very surprised and pleased that the kitchen went out of their way to provide me with a Vegan dessert (having notified them in advance of my food allergies). The staff were polite, professional and helpful. I recommend this place to all and look forward to returning...

Spirit is an absolutely fantastic venue for celebrations! It was recommended to me as a potential venue for my 30th birthday party, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. The building is amazing and was perfect for accommodating my casino night theme.

His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care made the planning process stress-free and enjoyable. On the night, he and the entire team were exceptional. My husband and I have been dying to try this place for ages, so we’re very much looking forward to our first meal out post lock down. The food was in most parts passable ( for the price it was nothing special but it wasn’t offensive) however the service was pretty terrible. The majority of the staff were friendly and attentive however the young girl who repeatedly plonked down our plates, took food to the wrong table, didn’t check if we needed anything, cleared my husbands plate whilst I was still eating and basically stood around with a look of “I can’t be bothered to be here” just made for an unenjoyable experience. We felt safe and social distancing wasn’t an issue but there wasn’t much ambiance and I don’t think that anything to do with corona. Won’t...
