I asked for a toasted s'mores Frappuccino. What was given to me by āsachaā was a large cup of cream with about 20-30% coffee in it (if Iām being generous) I tasted the coffee to see if it just appeared that way, but in fact was just a large cup filled with 70-80% cream. Please bear in mind I have had this drink made for me in various Starbucks across the country for the last two or three weeks and it was always had more than a few tea spoons of coffee in it. I took my coffee back to the desk and asked sacha if she could please add some more coffee (or the chocolate sauce that was missing) and she said in a very stern manner that thatās just how she is supposed to make the drink and shrugged her shoulders at me and carried on. I held it up to the picture on the board and said itās doesnāt even look like the picture on the board (a picture of a coffee with 70% coffee and 30% cream). She told me that the coffee had sunk to the bottom and that I couldnāt taste it - I reminded her that I had already tried the drink and at its bottom there was no coffee. Sacha very angrily told me that she could ādo me a favour and remake the drink but that there was nothing wrong with itā.
As I didnāt want sacha to embarrass me any further and I didnāt want to put her out, I put the drink into the bin in front of her and a coffee shop full of customers (some who commented on how unreasonable and rude sacha was being considering I had paid over 5 pounds for a large cup of cream, no chocolate and a table spoon or two of coffee - not to mention the free telling off I got thrown in with that cup of sad cream.
This meant that I was Seriously upset, out of pocket and not at all caffeinated. Starbucks is my favourite coffee shop and I spend tens of thousands there a year for business and pleasure - as much as I hate costa, this is the end of my loyalty to Starbucks.
Retrain sacha on customer service and good manners so that others arenāt ripped off and told off for the pleasure of it. You can keep my wasted money and consider it a donation towards the retraining of sacha.
Itās worth noting that every other Frappuccino I have had has been wonderful in other branches but I will not be returning...
