Starbucks — Restaurant in England

Run by kids again. They have no social skills, no selling skills, no sense of looking after a restaurant/cafe. No one seems to manage these places. There were loads of empty tables and not one was clean or free of left overs from departed customers. We really get fed up with going in a restaurant/cafe and you end up clearing your own table so you can sit down. The staff had no sense of humour, it's like being ignored and dismissed all in one, because we are now the older generations. I really wish they could be transported forward in time to when they are in their 60s and just see how rude and ignorant the younger generations treat us older generations these days. And it is almost entirely everywhere you go unless the staff are in their 30's/40's when they have started to feel their youth being stripped away from them by time and the younger generations around them. Rant over. But please train these younger generations and manage them better cus its put us off going back to...

Edit: After visiting the franchise with parking fine in hand, the manager was so lovely and offered to cancel the fine for me. I have changed my rating from a 1 to a 4 because of this, it would be a 4 if I didn't have to deal with all of this in the first place.

Original review: Beware the parking fines!! I don't normally leave negative reviews, I'm the type to just 'let it go and move on' but in this instance I want to warn others. I received a £100 parking fine today because I was there for 2 hours and 45 minutes (as a paying customer) Our group of 3 (and then 4) had 1-2 coffees each then I got a third for the drive home; and this is the thanks you get? Branch was empty apart from us and maybe a few walk in and outs so it wasn't like we were overstaying our welcome. Absolutely despicable, will not be back, such a shame.

Well what can I say! First of all we couldn't get in because the main door wasn't working, and the door we were told to use was shut. Eventually a member of staff let us in after WATCHING us for a few minutes first. Only one table in the whole restaurant was clean, so we had to sit in the one available spot, whilst 5 members of staff were standing around talking. We were then informed that there was absolutely nothing we xould order as they hadn't had a delivery, when I asked what they did have, I was told nothing. When I asked not even coffee? I was told oh well we have coffee, so I replied well ill have to have coffee then. The person I was speaking to then proceeded to go to the other members of staff, within our earshot, and slag us off! When we complained, I was told that I was rude aswell so that was that. He then refused to give the name of the manager. Never ever...
