My friend brought me here on a rainy day this week… What a charming place to discover. Cafe, groceries and a pretty little florist can all be found here… A total oasis for the village of Sutton I imagine. We had coffee, brownies, croissants and probably the biggest most delicious Tea cake I have encountered on my travels. The chef was putting finishing touches to various sponge cakes when we arrived - pity with my intolerance I couldn’t snag a slice. Although the team were very helpful when we ordered…Thanks team. This place is a hub for dog lovers and walkers as it’s surrounded by many walks in the gorge countryside… It has two floors and a large garden that sometimes gets quite busy - my chum informs me that during busy times be prepared for a little wait as the kitchen is small and everything is cooked from fresh. Fresh local produce is also available in the little wooden shop. Lovely

Following one of our usual walks to Macc Forest, we decided that we'd like a coffee & piece of cake on the way home. I quickly looked on Goggle maps and saw Sutton Village Cafe, a short diversion of our drive home. Upon arrival we were so pleasantly surprised to see such a beautiful looking cafe & general store. We were greeted with such a warm welcome and the garden was basking in the sun. Service was superb and both cakes we orderd were incredible (carrot cake & brownie). Staff were so friendly and made our dog feel quite at home. We saw other people ordering sandwiches and know we'll be back for a bacon butty on our next trip. Also visited the General Store and picked up a few groceries on our way home. What a great community spot...huge congrats to whoever owns and manages!

A beautiful find, located in the beautiful village of Sutton. Called In here for morning coffee and breakfast...absolutely love the homely village vibe,.made to feel most welcome and the coffee and food...absolutely delicious! All freshly made to whatever liking, one of the nicest breakfast baps I've had and the coffee, lovely. Great outdoor seating with a relaxing environment! Perfect way to start the day at Sutton village cafe. Thankyou and I'll be returning. Highly recommend this gem! Won't disspaoint.

So blessed to have Sutton village cafe as our local cafe. The food is absolutely delicious every visit, and the service is always very good. Jo, Nick, Karen, Anna and all the team are super welcoming and just make it a pleasure to swing by and either stop for a quick coffee or a leisurely brunch or lunch. Dogs are welcomed and always treated like the star of the show, with treats and doggy towels available for days when its a soggy doggy day and the ice cream hut is a magnet on those hot days. Just the perfect little happy place to...
