The coffee shop is such a great place. Any one who's been to West Wycombe will know that being on the high street it's often quite busy and loud down by the road but the coffee shop at the Apple Orchard is tucked away behind the main buildings and is very peaceful. It has a great outdoor space and a really nice seating area inside as well. Lots of history in the village and the surrounding buildings. They have a great selection of food and coffee at a reasonable price. It's a easy going shop as well and somewhere that I wouldn't hesitate to bring my kids to. It's one of the few places in West Wycombe that has its own off street parking too. You can get into it from the Apple Orchard shop or from the back car park without going through the shops. It's just recently been opened so the whole place is fresh and clean. Overall I can't say enough positive things about it. I just hope people come in and take a look because just walking down the high street you wouldn't know that it opens up into such a...
Read moreThis is a lovely quirky shop that is perfect for if you are looking for something a little bit different. We bought a dining table and chairs which we are thrillled with. They needed to be ordered and Carolyn agreed to call us once she knew when they were on the way to them and then delivery was a personal service at a specific time. Huw put everything in place even adding felt pads on the bottom of the legs to save the scraping noise on our tiled floor. What's more the price was very competitive I tried online and other stores for the same goods and The Apple Orchard came out the best. A few months after we had bought the set a stave on one of the chairs broke, agin wonderful service one phone call, Carolyn collected it, Huw repaired it and Carolyn brought it back. No charge and no quibbling - wonderful. What more can I say, go and see...
Read moreSadly our experience here was very poor. We had to wait 25 minutes for a coffee (which was nice) and croissant and 1 hour for pancakes and two cooked breakfasts. 1 small pancake (pre-bought) with a handful of strawberries, blueberries and Nutella was £10! Communication was poor (we had to go up to ask where our food was) and nothing was delivered when they said it would be. When I went up to enquire where our food was the second time they told us they didn’t have any eggs left so our breakfasts were late, incomplete and the bacon was barely cooked and the sausages the cheap ones. We had to leave without eating but did receive a refund for the breakfasts. Huge shame as the place is quaint and has the potential to be really good. Avoid if you don’t want a stressful coffee...
