The Bear Inn — Restaurant in England

My wife and I are staying at a local campsite in our motorhome. Of course you have to support your local businesses, so thought we'd sample the local pubs (as we always do). We tried them both but eventually decided to eat at The Bear Inn. Wow, wow, wow, so glad we did. My wife had the steak and ale pie, and I had the garlic chilli chicken pizza with a side of real chips. All we could say was that they were amazing and by far the best bar meals we have had for a hell of a long time. These guys looked after me from start to finish. I wanted some sort of hot sauce with the wings and prawns I ordered... and the chef sorted me out with something special hot sauce. I like spicy food and they were creative. The bar staff were super friendly too and they had some of my favourite real Ales. Plus some great whisky on the top shelf. Result! What a lovely evening spent at The Bear Inn, I was very impressed that I could sample the local wine from a vinyard literally a mile down the road! The owners are very friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable about the products, it always puts a smile on my face when there is good customer service.
