The setting of this pub is beautiful with a stream running in front of it where they host their duck race, however the pub is a different matter. It's very run down with banners for sky sport and football all over the place. We went on a Sunday afternoon for a quiet drink however pop music was blasting out. We asked for a Thatcher's gold and a Bombay saphire gin, we were told that the bottles in the optics were just for show but we do have Gordon's. The grass in the beer garden hadn't been cut and the benches felt like they could fall apart.
