Went for a sit down meal on a Wednesday evening. We were the only eat in customers and received first class service. Food was excellent. The King Prawn Malaya was very tasty with plenty of large King Prawns. The Chicken Ceylon was spicy and had a thick sauce (unlike some). The Saag Bhaji was well prepared and not oily. The Naan breads were outstanding, light and fluffy. Prices were slightly higher than the City.

A very popular take away as well as a lovely place to dine. Well worth a visit.

The positives: Great Naan bread, very soft. Nice rich tasting curry. Nice fluffy rice. Lager was ok....a little flat. Constructive critisisms: Bahjee was oily, when you picked it up the oil was dripping off it. Veg samosa was the same. Please don't cut up the Naan bread (i'm not a child). It was cold in the restaurant. Was a little expensive, £95 for 3 people. £20 per head I would consider as good value for money not £30. Probably the worst thing for me though was the waiter playing his drum and bass indian music. I enjoy indian music when eating a curry out, but was put off by the Indian equivalent of DJ Sy and the ScratchMasters revenge! Please nice relaxing music to go with the meal. I hope these things can improve as the food shows promise as it's very tasty, but there is more to an eating out experience than just the food itself. I would say give it a shot, your experience might be...

Really want to support local and was thrilled to see this open but just walked out hungry and thirsty. We waited 45mins for drinks that never arrived, no one took our order even though we asked 3x for someone too. Tables around us had been waiting over 2 hours for their food and even when it did arrive only half their order came. They had to start eating their curry without rice, popadoms and naan bread as it was going cold. They didn’t even have cutlery. Not really clear who works there and who doesn’t. Covid rules not being followed. Go there if you want a cobra, you’re not made to have a substantial meal with it. Such a shame as could be a...

Little disappointed, we live literally down the road so would always support local companies. We have always ordered from here since we moved in recently. They were always brilliant then went a bit downhill. I did email them to say I was not impressed by the chewing chicken and some seemed a bit raw too to which they did get in contact and offered a free meal. We took them up on this after a couple of weeks. To which it still was not right! The sauce for the pasanda had completely changed wasn’t the same and the chicken was still chewy! I’m guessing they have settled for a cheap quality of produce maybe?...
