We booked a Saturday at 1pm so expected the cafe to be busy which it was however we didn't have to wait long and when it came it was delicious and very filling. The staff were lovely but really busy running after and cleaning up after mothers and their children, which spoilt the atmosphere for us. Book this, its brilliant value for money - just don't book at a weekend unless you have ear defenders for the screaming monsters 😀

Very busy place but the servers seem to work quickly, very friend, and they great gluten free availability, including cakes. The staff were very knowledgeable around dietary needs and it's a very clean and open location. Great disability access and wonderful scenery. Not too expensive as I got cappuccinos, a cake, all for around £10. Will definitely be going back

Lovely Cafe, I visited with my in-laws who were in town and they loved it! Scones were super fresh and fluffy, and waffles with Nutella and banana were perfect. Food came really fast and a great choice on offer. Very reasonably priced! Dog friendly cafe which was great. Clean, warm, and a very friendly Cafe!

Regrettably underwhelming.

Given the substantial price tag of £11 for breakfast and the positive reviews, I expected better.

The series of disappointments began when my order arrived, without the promised black pudding. Disheartened, I was compelled to go back inside and specifically request it. While the staff promptly brought out a piece of black pudding, they did not check whether any other elements were amiss. A minute later, I discovered another oversight—no butter was provided for the toast. Thus, a second return inside. Halfway through my meal, I realised that no napkins had been provided. Perhaps owing to my experience in the hospitality industry, I am acutely aware of the importance of attention to detail, and such glaring omissions are indicative of a lackluster service standard.

The food itself was acceptable. It arrived at the table sufficiently hot, although I must remark that the egg white exhibited a slightly undercooked texture with intermittent stringiness. Additionally, I would have preferred the bacon to be crispier. Furthermore, the inclusion of only one slice of toast and a meager half of a tomato seemed somewhat stingy considering the price.

Rectifying these disappointments would not require much effort. Attention to detail, would make for such an...

We dined as a very hungry family of four, having a treat lunch after a good hour in the excellent outdoor play park. The food was outstanding, really fresh and the portions were massive. This is a league above what some might expect from a park cafe. Our order - Kids Cheese Toastie, Club Sandwich, Chicken Katsu Fries, plus some incredible indulgent cake to share for dessert. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The drinks selection, like the food menu, was really varied. We had Strawberry Cooler and Peach Iced Tea for the kids and top notch proper barista style coffee for us grown ups. Also to note, the staff were really friendly and helpful. We’ll...

Brought my husband this morning for breakfast. He had the full english which he said was great and I had a bacon sandwich with a fried egg. This was also lovely but it wasnt on sourdough bread as i had asked for.I couldnt be bothered to wait for it to be redone so I ate it. No one came over to see if the food was ok or asked as we were leaving. Before we left I purchased a loaded brownie and a carrot cake for us for later .It was only later that I opened the cake box that I found I had been given a plain brownie! Hence only 3 stars review, the young staff need to pay attention to...
