This is a lovely village pub where the staff make you feel particularly welcome. They’ve sorted out the garden so it’s now a large spacious area, great to sit outside in on a sunny day. Inside there’s also lots of space, with different areas and a dedicated room for dining. The food menu isn’t the most extensive and there didn’t appear to be an offering of sandwiches on a Sunday, but all the food we did see looked to be presented well with sizeable portions.
It’s got a traditional feel inside and isn’t the most modern of places but everywhere seemed clean at least. Read moreMe and my friend walked into the establishment. Around 11:15. They were still open and serving people. The Anthony Joshua fight just finished. Bloke around 5'8, ginger hair. No clue if it's the New owner or employee. Incredibly rude. Shouts at us asking what we want. Then starts making comments like "can't walk in here when you haven't been in earlier". When a massive sports event just happened, Joshua just beat Ruiz. Could learn some class and manners. Could just say sorry not serving anymore. Lived in the village life never been treated by a local business owner like that before. Put a unwanted dirty image to a great village.

In first impressions was very clean and friendly. Had a pool table darts board. And a lovely sunny garden area. It was advertising different themed nights they had on.
