Wifey out with sis today. Had a lovely walk over to Hurworth Grange where the old stable block has been converted into a lovely café. The Coffee Pot had tables inside and we sat outside as it was lovely and sunny. We had coffees and homemade cakes which were very tasty. The children's play equipment is nearby and the Grange playing field very close by.

A wonderful cosy cafe. I regularly eat here on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with my gardening collegue. There is a warm welcome from the friendly staff, the service is great, they cannot do enough for you and the food is very tasty. The menu is very good and expanding. There is a good selection of sandwiches and the jacket potatoes are especially good with a variety of toppings. Then there are the cakes....WOW. I cannot recommend...

Just visited the coffee pot for the first time and even tho I was unable to get a jacket potato due to me arriving not long before closing I opted for a bacon and sausage sandwich and it was beautiful. The ladies there are very welcoming and I will definitely be returning in the near...
