A Delightful Culinary Journey at The Coriander Club, Reading The Coriander Club in Reading isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience. From the moment you step inside, the vibrant atmosphere and aroma of spices transport you to the heart of Punjab. But the true magic unfolds on your plate. The food is a symphony of flavours, bursting with freshness and authenticity. Each dish is a testament to the culinary skills of the chefs, who clearly pour their passion into every creation. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the biryani. Unlike the dry, often disappointing versions we've encountered elsewhere, The Coriander Club's biryani was a revelation. Perfectly moist, infused with fragrant spices, and packed with tender lamb meat, it was easily the best we've ever had. But the culinary excellence doesn't stop there. Every dish we tried, from the appetisers to the desserts, was a delight. The staff further elevates the experience with their warm and friendly service. They are attentive without being intrusive, and their recommendations were spot-on. However, due to the restaurant's popularity, booking ahead is highly recommended. This hidden gem is a magnet for those seeking an authentic and delicious Punjabi feast, so don't miss out! In summary: Food: Exceptional flavor, fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked (especially the biryani!) Atmosphere: Vibrant, welcoming, and authentic Service: Friendly, attentive, and helpful Recommendation: Book ahead, it's a popular spot! I wholeheartedly recommend The Coriander Club to anyone looking for a truly memorable dining experience in Reading. It's a place where you can savor delicious food, soak in the warm atmosphere, and create lasting memories.

Nestled in the heart of the city, The Coriander Club is a culinary gem that transports you straight to the vibrant streets of Punjab. From the moment you step in, the warm, rustic decor and the intoxicating aroma of spices create a nostalgic ambiance reminiscent of home. The menu is a celebration of Punjabi cuisine, offering a delightful array of traditional dishes that are both hearty and flavorful. I started my meal with the Amritsari Fish, a perfectly crispy and tangy delight that took me back to the bustling food stalls of Amritsar. The fish was tender, well-marinated, and cooked to perfection. The main course did not disappoint. The Butter Chicken, a staple of Punjabi cuisine, was rich and creamy, with a balanced blend of spices that provided a comforting warmth with every bite. Paired with freshly baked garlic naan, it was a match made in culinary heaven, offering a velvety texture and a depth of flavor that was simply divine. The service Anup was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Their knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot on, enhancing the overall dining experience. In conclusion, The Coriander Club is more than just a restaurant; it’s a culinary journey that brings the flavors and spirit of Punjab to your table. Whether you're seeking comfort food that reminds you of home or looking to explore the rich tapestry of Punjabi cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. Each dish is crafted with love and authenticity, making every meal a memorable experience.

I wanted to take a moment to share my feedback after tasting the food at your stall during Holi in Theale. The experience was truly amazing! The flavors were vibrant, and each dish was prepared to perfection. I was so impressed that I followed your restaurant’s Instagram page and discovered that you are organizing a charity food event today, April 13th, for Vaisakhi. My friend and I decided to attend, and we were thrilled with the delicious offerings. The authentic Indian dishes like chana, dal makhani, pulao, garlic and plain naan, raita, salad, and fruit custard were exceptional. The potato and cauliflower vegetable was also a highlight. Additionally, we enjoyed the cocktails, particularly the Chocolate Martini, and the mocktail, Mixed Berries Mojito, which were both fantastic! It was heartwarming to see that the food was free for everyone in celebration of Vaisakhi. We highly recommend Coriander Club to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

A high class restaurant tucked away in Calcot! This was my first visit to the delightfully intimate coriander club. From the moment you step into the restaurant you are greeted with warmth and smiles. The staff are attentive, kind and nothing is too much trouble. The decor and ambience allows you to escape to another place and relax into your evening. To start with we had a basket of mini poppadoms with a selection of delicious chutneys. Tomato was our favourite. I then chose the onion bhaji's to start which were equally as tasty. The portion is definitely a sharing starter as there were 4 on the plate. We then went onto the mains. My friend is vegetarian so chose the biryani which she really enjoyed. I had the chicken murgh masala, accompanied by pilau rice and a lachlan paratha. Washed down by a white wine spritzer which was also a treat. Oh my goodness my taste buds were tingling with this tantalising delight. I couldn't leave any, I had to eat it all. We were too full to have a dessert although they looked and sounded equally as scrumptious. So to satisfy our sweet craving we opted for a hot chocolate, with coffee and cardamon. This really hit the spot, and finished our meal off a treat! The prices are very reasonable, especially for such a high calibre of cuisine. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, you have to try it. I cannot wait to go back and sample...
