About as bad as I’ve ever seen in the UK. Booked for one night over the phone. £140 for a twin room for me and my sister while visiting in the area. We could barely hear the person behind the bar, she didn’t even crack a smile or say hello. Spoke way too fast offloading loads of instructions. Then we got to the room and what a tip. Firstly, it was dirty - floor, bathroom and stuff I had to brush off the sheets. The beds were essentially a double room they were butted up against each other. My sister and I are way past the age where you share beds to cut costs. The TV wasn’t connected so we did that ourselves. The can of fly spray on the table was a nice touch! The place is old and tired. Bedside tables scratched and patchy, odd ‘art’ on the walls, the kettle was filthy on the outside, we didn’t bother boiling it we were only in the ten minutes then we left. We were told there was no kitchen at the moment so they’d left cereals and milk in the room. We assumed they were doing up the kitchen but I think they’re just letting it run into the ground. The towels looked clean but the shower needs a deep clean for sure. There was an old fridge with milk in it but it’s so loud you’d have to turn it off to sleep. If I was that poor woman downstairs I’d be monosyllabic too. Awful place. We went for dinner at a gorgeous pub round the corner, they said the Falcon is the worst place to stay and the owner is just letting it run down. He might have a point! We didn’t stay, instead we drove home after dinner, luckily it was only a couple of hours drive but what was meant to be a nostalgic day away was curtailed by a horrible room we couldn’t try...

We throughly enjoyed our stay in the Falcon Inn located in the beautiful village of Denham. This historic property was well-appointed with comfortable modern conveniences, while still maintaining its rich tradition going back hundreds of years.||Our room was the Stanton in the top of the inn and contained a very comfortable bed with standard classic furniture, en-suite bath, tea/coffee maker, and basic breakfast amenities. The windows afforded beautiful views of the village square. Close to the Falcon are a number of excellent restaurants. We enjoyed dinners at the Swan and Da Remo. There is a beautiful walking path called the Phytlle which leads both to the local train station and the more business-oriented area of Denham if one requires travel supplies, snacks, etc. The proximity of the train station (about a 10 minute walk from the Falcon) affords easy access to London, Oxford, etc. ||The pub is very friendly and welcoming with a good selection of beverages. I became especially fond of the cider! The innkeeper is kind and very knowledgable about the history of the local area. All in all, we found the price to be reasonable for the area and the experience to be excellent. We will definitely return to...

We stayed at the Falcon Inn prior to our departure from Heathrow. It was a marvelous inn in a charming small town less than 20 minutes from Heathrow. We stayed in the double en suite. Bear room we had in our week in the UK. Large and well lit, great shower and bath facilities. We didn’t mind the lack of a hot breakfast, the juice, cereal, and fresh fruit were perfect. There are excellent dining options in close walking distance. Parking was easy and readily available.

What a gem! Lovely little place, very quaint and peaceful, incredibly nice people and wonderful warm atmosphere. I stayed here during a hectic work trip, and the moment I walked in, I decided to stay another day and make this my off-day. The neighborhood feels like an island of calm improbably located inside Greater London. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to London.
