Had a really great breakfast here. The place is well kept and has a lovely atmosphere for families, hillwalkers, and more. Their own roasted coffee is very good for the price and the £1 refills are a nice touch. For breakfast I had the eggs royale. Whilst I think the muffin could have been toasted for longer and the eggs were a little over done for my liking it was a solid meal on the whole. Would recommend 🙂

Visited 25/03/23, midday. Just before the busy lunch period. We ordered full English & eggs benedict on sourdough. Both nicely presented and tasty. Good menu, jacket potatoes, panini, sandwiches too, and cakes. Nice ambiance, friendly staff. Only suggestion is offering a larger option on the coffee size, they only do a small one which is very nice but would like a larger option. Recommended, would come again.

This is one of my favourite place for breakfast. Nice service, dishes always perfectly cooked and presented. I love the menu but I highly recommend Eggs Royal! I've been there many times and Eggs Royal are always a winning bet. I'm not a good coffee drinker but my wife loves their coffee. I love the fresh orange juice.

Went to dine 🍽 in this morning greeted with a warm welcome at the door everyone said hello and made me feel at home ordered the fruit platter and green tea then went to sit in my favourite corner at the back the food was well presented and delicious on the plate and everything tasted fresh and healthy the staff very efficient and the friendly always very attentive when I went to leave to go home as on all visits I always take a cake home with me for later and this time I bought a slice of the gooseberry and elderflower victoria sponge cake and had some when i got home 🏡 and it's Fantastic very delicious the sponge very light and will buy it again always a joy to visit a well presented and fantastic coffee shop run by professional/fantastic owners and their work colleagues who are great 👍 too The menu is so fantastic good variety of choices and good choice of drinks Also the best coffee shop in the town that offers more than just sandwiches You offer more choices and better quality of service and food than the other coffee shops do which is good as you cook and make everything fresh to order compared to other places that don't Keep up the good work Don't change the menu as its perfect as it is Well done for being the best and the service and hospitality you provide and the excellent quality of food you deserve the 5☆ review See you next time and all the times after that I'm proud to be a customer for the...

I don't like giving negative reviews but if I could give this place no stars I would. I had a blt panini. The bacon had been pre-cooked and was cold and flabby like pieces of rubber. The lettuce was a soggy green pulp. The bread was like two pieces of cardboard. The cucumber in the accompanying salad looked as if it had been prepared hours beforehand. The whole was warm on the outside and cold inside. Totally inedible. My partner had avocado on toast which consisted of unseasoned mashed avocado on soggy toast with hardly any butter. The coffee was very ordinary. Cost nearly £18!!! This is the kind of Cafe that makes it so easy for Starbucks etc In response to the owner's reply:- I did not complain or ask for a refund because I did not want a confrontation 2.i certainly did not say thank you as leaving and I was not all smiles. On the contrary I simply walked out without speaking to anyone ( which makes me very rude I know) My negative review is intended to help prospective customers to avoid a similar experience. Hopefully you will take my comments on board and improve...

I visited this cafe with 3 other family members by friends' recommendation of a specific drink, the chilli mocha. This drink was ordered as well other coffees and cakes. The chilli mocha was tasty and worth a try. My coffee, flat white, was more of a latte and the coffee taste wasn't for me. The cakes were nice though. The ambience was nice and the decor is tasteful. It was busy but not packed when we arrived so were able to take our time to chat. It has an added bonus of being licenced so you can enjoy a beer or wine - although the selection on the menu was limited. They offer hot and cold food options and a decent menu of options. You are also able to buy chocolates, and bags of coffee etc.. I didn't find the coffee to my taste but this may appeal to others' taste. Lastly, I found it a little strange to have the toilet opposite the food serving area. Overall it is a nice cafe and the staff were pleasant but it didn't have the wow...
