Popped in for a crab sandwich on Saturday 20th May. Had been looking forward to one and was hoping it would be good. Was asked if I wanted lemon mayo and I said yes - presuming it would be added to the crab. Got it and dashed off to the at it up the road. Sadly it wasnāt good at all. The crab had no mayonnaise added to it⦠crab meat falling out of the sandwich wasnāt good. Ate half then decided As Iād paid around Ā£10 it wasnāt worth it so went back and asked for mayo to be added to the remaining sandwich.
Unbelievably I was told there was mayo in the crab to bind it together⦠absolutely not true. There wasnāt any there! Asked if I could have some put in and told no I can add it myself if I wanted. Given a small amount and that was it.

a little feedback for the owner really.... if I had to be super critical.. I would say a bit more outside weather protection like a sun sail the next time you are doing any improvements so you get more customers in more of the time
but take nothing away this...

Charlestown is going through rapid change, with restaurants and bling coming to its harbour, and to find a tradtional cafe, with prices not inflated to fleece the tourist...
