Superb quaint small intimate pub. Lovely inside and outside. Great beer garden and amenities, including outside toilets, converted stable and large grassed area. A sun trap, when it's sunny.

Inside is very clean and tidy with an excellent selection of ales, beers and spirits.

Stumbled across this gem of a tradional pub whilst trying several local establishments. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming the selection of beers was sublime. The pub has been recently refurbished with a great beer garden I highly recommend you pay a visit the manageress spoke to us several times making sure everything ok this will be our new...

Sunday afternoon live music outside. The band called Stolen Property were absolutely brilliant. The whole place was bouncing. Outside beer garden and the normal inside bar for cask and guest beers. Recommend the mild. You don't see mild beer being served anywhere these days so it was a real treat to have an excellent pint of Theakstons. Well done...
