The Hangry Vegan — Restaurant in England

Ordered this to a friends home- couldn't have been happier. We were full with the excellent portion sizes and our meat eating friend enjoyed theirs immensely. The one 'childs meal' we got seemed to be the same kind of portion size as our adult meals, but we ordered different things so was hard to tell. We got two 'Hamvurger' meals which were gorgeous burgers loaded with cheeze, salad and sauce- the burger is so big, I struggled to get it in my mouth (which is a feat in itself! :P)- we ordered a 'herby fries' and plain fries, great portion sizes and BOTH tasted AMAZING! so many herbs on the herby fries, but loved trying the plain ones too! we also ordered the kids veggie burger which was a good size. there are loads of options for people who like hot things, and can add amazing extra spicy sauces- but we DO NOT like hot things and what we ordered was absolutely wonderful- i think they might do well to add a cool - hot chilli sign on the meals as some can be quite deceiving and sound cool, then at the end it will say 'with spicy beans' or something. Extremely dissapointed i have just moved to the area and wss overjoyed to find a vegan restraunt where i could order a take away from uber eats.

Placed an order and after an hour an a half no sign of it checked the uber eats ap which said the order had been cancelled by the restraunt.

This is a shockingly bad level of customer service no matter how good your food is alleged to be.

I have amended this review to 4 stars as i was not aware that they had not received the order and would like to thank them for their prompt reply explaining the circumstances. I will certainly give them the benefit of the doubt as they have a reputation for good food and local vegan restaurants should be supported, judging by the speed of their response their customer service...

We were lucky enough to receive a gift voucher for Christmas from my husband's boss. Each meal was very generously portioned with enough for two people. My favourite was the black bean quesadillas served with tasty green rice. I also loved the jerk tofu and chickpea curry, the katsu curry and the sticky Korean curry. All the meals tasted delicious and healthy, not drowned in oil like many takeaways and the tofu in each meal tasted totally different and had a different texture.
