We thought to try somewhere new for lunch and were not disappointed! Lovely place with very friendly staff! Very reasonably priced delicious food. They were compliant with COVID guidelines with all staff wearing masks/visors, tables socially distanced and everything being sprayed down as soon as a customer left! We chose two sandwiches from their lunch menu. The Metro Cubano - juicy pork belly slices with spicy mayo in a ciabata, and The Big Squeeze - delicious salami and Swiss cheese with mustard in crispy sourdough bread. I like a bit of spice with my salami and the staff were kind enough to provide some very delicious harissa paste to spread on the bread. The mojito was the perfect accompaniment to a warm sunny afternoon! We also managed to squeeze in a lovely light and fluffy lemon meringue cake out of the very appetising selection they had on display. Unfortunately, it was gone before I could take a picture! All in all a super yummy meal and we will definitely be coming back again, maybe to try the breakfast menu, especially as they are currently part of the govts...

Both of the Apple cakes that we tried were light, moist full of flavour and I wish I lived closer!
Perhaps the family could be persuaded to come and set up in my local...
Read moreVisited for breakfast a half way point during a bike ride. The Junction is clean, nicely presented and seemed quite comfortable. the most striking thing for me most guests being greeted by name as they came in and asked if they wanted a certain dish (presume they were regular visitors).
Very friendly staff and great service. We had coffee which was nice and strong and toast (sourdough bread) along with butter (offered proper butter and not margarine). A lot of vegetarian options on offer but during a previous ride I struggled to ride after a heavy breakfast so stuck to toast. Definitely worth visiting and hope to have enroute on...
