I wish I could leave a good review - The Little Ship Inn has some potential with an outdoor area close to the beach (though it was poorly maintained), with a pool table and a bowling alley. Drink selection was passable. What really let it down was the astonishingly poor food. I got the fish and chips which after the anticipation of nearly an hour’s wait came out tasteless with a pale and leathery batter and wet and limp fish. We live in a modern digital world - is it beyond reach to let customers know if the kitchen is 'closed'? Just felt like they were spectacularly unbothered about most things, including us.
