The Meadows Public House — Restaurant in England

I was down from Scotland for a friend's funeral,after that we went to meadows as there was a buffet layed on,the bar staff were excellent,the prices very good,and the manager or landlady who was on was brilliant and very helpful,she put down the ramp so my mate could get his electric wheelchair in,so I would recommend this this bar to anyone from hull,who would like to party or to visit after a funeral,all round 10...

The Meadows pub (formally the swallow), is an estate pub a large car park and plenty of outside seating. It has a large games room with a darts board and a full size snooker table. The bar has a pool table and darts board a nice comfortable room decorated with loads football shirts. It has the usual range of beers including John Smith's bitter, sadly no hand pulled real ale. Called in for a swift pint. Saw the quality of the bar food and had to have some. Good portion of scampi. The pub has two large rooms each with a pool table. The pub was reasonably busy for a Friday lunch time. There were enough beers to choose from although no cask ale. The atmosphere was great and the music from the juke box added to this.
