They do deceive you on lunch menu

Been here for lunch and evening meals staff are friendly and the place always seems clean. Steak and seafood dishes are quite good and pasta. Food overall is fairly nice but not the best italian i have been to but still reasonable you do not get big portions they are quite small but ok as they try to market themselves on more fine dining.

The lunch time set price is confusing, on the website if you click on lunch link the main meals state chicken and fish comes with potatoes this is not true you have to pay for them at a seperate cost and only get just the chicken nothing else as a main meal how odd!!! but in the evening the potatoes come in with the meal. I think it is probably because they do not want to do set lunch prices but need bums filled on seats lunch time and want to make more on top but telling you on the website it comes with the meal but in person you have to pay extra is deceiving people. I did mention this to the waitress and she saw the evidence online i showed her it under lunch she agreed and said she would tell the manager but they still put it on the bill which is bad customer service. I do not mind if they charge extra for it even though it is odd to call something a main meal but only get 1 thing but it should be taken off on there website as it comes with the chicken meal as it is a false statement besides that Coffee, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks are a reasonable price and it is a nice atmosphere dining here.

A lot of places around to eat at that do not deceive like this so probably will not be back for a while as there is better out there and i have eaten at a lot of...

Dining at Palmichael Restaurant is an experience that delights every refined palate. From the moment you enter, the tranquil lighting and elegant atmosphere set the tone for an evening of sophistication and quiet indulgence. The surroundings are tastefully understated, allowing the beauty of the Italian-inspired interior to shine through. Every element — from the carefully chosen décor to the minimalist yet distinctive design details — reflects impeccable taste without ever feeling excessive. Guests arrive dressed smartly, naturally mirroring the graceful ambiance that the space inspires.

The service is equally refined. The waitstaff are impeccably presentable, their manners polished and professional, and the menus are presented with care and style. Each dish is a true work of culinary art, showcasing the chef’s expertise and creativity. The chef’s specials are particularly noteworthy — unique combinations that fully deserve to bear the chef’s name. Presentation is exquisite, each plate arranged with precision and flair.

We sampled several dishes, and every one of them was equally delicious and perfectly balanced — the spices enhancing, never overpowering, the natural flavors of the ingredients. Palmichael is a restaurant for those who appreciate artistry in cuisine, grace in service, and an ambiance that speaks of good taste. A place to bring someone discerning — and be...

This restaurant is in a nice spot it is modern and friendly staff. The lunch time menu however needs a bit more choice they have some good starters but the mains are mainly a bit of pasta, Risotta a Cesar salad and 1 chicken dish with tomato sauce they could do with maybe a couple more chicken dishes like a cream white wine type of sauce. I know they will not have red meat on the main menu because of cost at lunch time but maybe some more chicken dishes or a italian lasange. Also the sauteed potatoes are a bit bland and tasteless like potato cubes you buy in a packet in the frozen chips area of the supermarket and just put them in the oven could do with maybe lightly pan frying them with more of a taste of olive oil butter etc i have eaten in many italian restaurants so had many nicer sauteed potatoes. With more taste to them also i think it should be made clear that if you have chicken with vegetables the veg portion is very small Indeed and you need to purchase the potatoes seperately at an additional cost which is ok if that is how they want to do this but most places it is a given the potatoes would be part of the meal. Overall I do think though the food is of quite good quality but a couple of times i have noticed there chicken dishes it can be a bit tough and chewy. Some little improvements and this could be an...

I was recommended this place by a client at work and I was so glad to be told about this absolutely amazing place. The service was stellar from start to finish. I don't think I have had so many people attend to just one table before. Anything we asked for was dealt with so promptly and politely I was so impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the music playing whilst we ate was apt. Our food was flawless through three courses. As I chef I find it very hard to get food up to a certain standard but this was an exception. I can't recommend this place enough and will be returning asap. The arancini was so good, seasoned perfectly and looked beautiful. My beef ragu was stunning.. a depth of flavour that I thoroughly enjoyed. My partners lasagne was amazing and not a scrap was left by either of us. I ordered lemon tart which came with a shot of lemon cello and it was to die for and looked so pretty. My partner polished her brownie in record time. The bill was just under a hundred pounds which was good considering we had multiple drinks. Bravo for being so on point to all the staff and owner. We will be back asap..thanks so much we are truly happy customers.

I would certainly recommend this restaurant. It doesn’t look much from the outside but don’t let that put you off. It’s fantastic!! Beautifully furnished and the food was sensational. We had the fish platter and lobster ravioli, and it was served beautifully. Having been lucky enough to eat at some top fish restaurants, this was up there with the best. The service was attentive and the young waiters and waitresses were polite, and the uniforms were smart but not old fashioned. They also knew the menu and worked well as a team. I was impressed it was fully booked for a Wednesday night and being able to book via Google was so simple. This place is relaxed, but has a nice ambiance with decent clientele making it a sophisticated atmosphere. Thank you for making my sons birthday memorable. The facts: for 3 to eat starter and main course with 2 soft drinks and one beer : £120 Parking: ok, mainly road or in the church which is tight and not for a nervous driver. Outside has no bearing on the interior so don’t be put off. Worth paying for as it’s a great food experience.
