I came looking for my old review to share the picture with someone on Facebook, but it seems somehow my review has been removed! So here it is again. It's a beautiful little pub that I used to use for lunch meetings until the food quality went downhill. The last time I ate there the food was literally inedible to the point where I chipped a tooth trying to eat my burger! It had been cooked to the point of shoe leather.
I did explain this, all I got was a limp "sorry", no offer of replacement or refund, despite not a single full mouthful having been consumed. Even more galling given the high prices! I don't mind paying Michelin restaurant prices if the food is good, but not for inedible shoe leather.

So disappointing as we have used this pub for years, I have now thankfully found a pub down the road who welcomed us and were really...
