Absolutely shocking place. Its literally 5mins walk from home. Last Saturday night i was begged by a freind to visit. It was 9.15pm there were about 6 people in the whole place. I went straight to toliet. Where i was joined by a 6 foot'ish thug who grabbed both my jacket lapels and ask me if i was a grass as they dont like grasses in his pub..... i left by the closest exit and had to txt my freind that I'd sneaked out.. thats me done, have tried a couple of times over the last 10 years. And this experience was nothing more than actually expected. Horrible horrible place. Makes the Jockey pub on Shameless look like Buckingham palace...👎

A nice modern estate pub on the corner of greenwood Ave. A large two roomed nicely decorated comfortable pub. A good choice of beers and cider, sadly no cask conditioned real ale. Friendly welcoming staff, dart board in the bar, nice outdoor seating area a car park and dog friendly.

A deeply disappointing and racially charged experience

I came to this bar with friends looking to unwind and enjoy a night out. However, from the moment we walked in, we were made to feel unwelcome. Within seconds of sitting down, a man approached us and told us we couldn’t just come in and sit — despite the fact that we were clearly preparing to order drinks.

As we made our way to the counter and began paying, a staff member loudly shouted across the room that if we weren’t ready to pay, we shouldn’t even be there — even though we were the only customers at the bar at the time, and had been at the counter for less than 10 seconds.

It felt less like concern about service, and more like we were being singled out. As the only Black people in the bar, the tone, timing, and treatment made it hard not to see this as racially motivated.

I was embarrassed, upset, and decided to leave without touching the drinks I had just paid for. No one should be made to feel out of place or disrespected simply because of who they are. I hope the management takes this seriously and addresses how they treat people, because this...

The pilot was a delightful experience, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. It’s a simple, charming spot with affordable prices that don’t compromise on quality. The friendly staff and customers create a warm, inviting vibe that makes it the perfect place to relax and enjoy your time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice, budget-friendly venue with a...
