Visited The Pipe Makers on Sunday 26th March 2023 for the first time since it opened after refurbishment of the old Albion Inn under its new name. We were pleasantly surprised by the relaxed atmosphere that has been created inside The Pipe Makers and the friendly service offered to all visitors.
The Pipe Makers is on Broseley High Street and it does not have a car park but some limited street parking is in front of the pub. Further parking is available in the Dark Lane Car park a few minutes away.
On entering through the front entrance there are 2 doors to the left and right . The left door takes you into a small , comfortable Snug with about 4 tables for customers. A set of patio doors at the rear of the Snug leads into a very small ' Secret Garden' . It is a small patio space with two high tables with stools for outdoor seating . Note there are also tables and chairs in front of the Pipe Makers for outdoor drinking .
The right hand door leads into a larger Lounge and both bars are served by a central bar . The bar serves 3 real ales with Wye Valley HPA and Butty Bach on 2 of the handpulls . The toilets are at the rear of bar area accessed by a door. The Pipe Makers offers a small menu of mainly pies with a choice of accompanying vegetables and potatoes.
My family liked The Pipe Makers and we would recommend it as a comfortable and friendly establishment with good...
