I called and booked a romantic table for two for my Partners Birthday. I arrived and was placed next to a drunken roudy Christmas night out. It was quiet and I asked to be moved to another table which the tall dark haired waitress ignored and stormed off with a face like a smacked arse. We were then left for 20 mimutes until a waiter heard me voicing how dissapointed I was that we had been left with no orders especially with it being fairly quiet (minus the drunken party). We order food and then have to wait 40 minutes until we are served our food as we are told there is a delay due to the Party table (which we understood). My Steak was 30% Fat and for £25 I was not impressed although I will say it was tastey and cooked very well. This poor waiter was left to run all over these tables while his colleuges floated about and did nothing... I was appauled and we could tell he felt guilty when he appologised. After we ate I had to wait 45 minutes before my plate was cleared up (after asking a staff member to help) I asked for the bill before he asked if wanted Coffee or Desert. It was cold, over priced and I was deaply dissapointed that after my effort to spoil my partner on her birthday I was left feeling like a hindrance to the Rib Room. I feel cheated. I come from a background in Hospitality from my uni days and I expressed that this waiter has done a great job but after telling him it was meant to be a romantic evening and it was anything but. Avoid...

The place is absolutely beautiful 😍 we loved the atmospheric and the service was outstanding. We were served by Alicja who was well experienced, very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The food here doesn't disappoint and although it's a stake house we went for other options. We had scallops 10/10, whole lobster with garlic butter 10/10, beef carpacio 5/10 , halibut and Cray fish pasta 9/10

Our favourite are scallops combined with apple puree were delicious. Lobster was cooked to perfection and most importantly all take out of shell. So no fussing around. The tagliatelle with halibut was full of flavour but the fish was slightly over cooked and skin burned but other than that it was spot on. The carpacio was a let down. The meat was sliced too thickly, finished with aioli was too fat and left bad after taste. The quality of the beef fillet used wasn't too good either, so I'm actually glad we didn't try the steak🤷

Overall delicious food, great choice and tasty wine

Visited on the evening of Sunday 27/10/2024, 6:30pm. From the outset, there appeared to be problems with service, with a queue of people waiting to be seated at the restaurant reception desk. Order was taken efficiently, and we had the Steak Sharing Board for two, with a couple of sides. Some bread and butter were provided while we waited. The quality of the food was exceptional and could not be faulted. When we had finished, we had some difficulty attracting attention for our bill. We said we wanted to pay by card but no card machine was brought. After waiting for some time, we had to get up and stand around the restaurant reception area, almost to purposely get in the way, to get attention, and I had to collar a member of staff to say we were waiting to pay. In summary, food excellent, but the service - which may be due to insufficient staff - leaves something to be desired, and pulls down the rating of this review. Nevertheless, we...

First time at this restaurant, staff were excellent polite, informative and service was brilliant. We had the Sunday lunch which was superb, the Souffle was so tasty and Big, I had the parsnip soup really good. The mains I had the chicken and better half had the Lamb. #The lamb was pink and 2 big slices my Chicken was very moist and cooked perfectly. On both our plates was Roast and Mashed Potatoes, stem broccoli, sweet carrot and honey roasted parsnip, then served leeks in butter and cauliflower in cheese in seperate dishes. Both the carrot and parsnip was so good that I had to mention them. Could not manage the sweet but a big table next to us did and they looked awesome. Staff spent time with us and Manager explained about Beaujolais and how they stopped the race to get the first one in UK. Had a great time food was really good highly recommend
