The Ship Inn is tucked away in Ann Watson Street behind B&Q. It's one of those pubs if you didn't know it was there you would never see it when passing, but it is worth seeking out. A very attractive pub in a mock Tudor Style. A traditional two room pub with a central bar it has a good range of beers and lagers, sadly no cask conditioned real ale. A friendly traditional community pub worth a visit. It has a nice big outside seating area with some interesting murals painted on the walls, its own car park and free on street parking.

Needs to sort out their darts team and let them know they are representing the pub on away matches and that they cannot spit their dummies out when they are losing and throw dartboards across the room , these people are suppost to be adults if they can't handle their beer then leave it alone and for the person that said if you can't reach the dartboard you shouldn't be playing have a bit of respect for others , it should be a night out to play darts win or lose it should be enjoyable for both teams not result in getting threats and players thinking its acceptable to do criminal damage shame on your B team they...

On the day we visited the Ship for the wake of local (Gez) The place was packed, & it was great to see so many old faces from the past. Bar staff handled the large influx of customers without getting flustered with a smile. Deco & pub in general was clean. Hopefully the Ship will be successful & carry on for many...
