Fancied lunch and stopped at the first pub I drove past. It happened to be The Six Bells. It is a pub with a lot of history and heritage, there are also a number of pictures on the walls showcasing its routes. We ordered a hot baguette, mine was cheese and bacon and it was really good. Very friendly staff and the price was value for money. It lacked a little background music but that's not enough to stop me going back in the future 😊

A really nice local pub - with plenty of good ales and beers on - lovely to sit in a great pub garden to enjoy a beer in the sun - great friendly service too πŸ»πŸ·β˜€οΈπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜Š

Always a nice crisp pint. No nonsense. But ideal for a few afternoon pints. Staff and locals are friendly and welcoming.

Sometimes, in this world of gastro pubs and themed places, you struggle to find a great, British pub that just serves great beer, and plain satisfying food. I brought my daughter here on a cold, grey day. I'd just scattered my Mums ashes so was in a sombre and melancholy mood. Got parked right outside in one of the 3 spaces and walked through the door. Fire was lit.

London Pride on draft. The piblican apologized for the simple food she was serving because she was manning the ship alone, this was what I needed. I sat by the fire and chatted. A table of old boys were getting acquainted and talking quietly together at the next table. Then the bacon and cheese baguette arrived.... Utterly brilliant in the way only simple, delicious, comfort food can be.

This place represents the opposite of all of those pubs that have had thier love and community spirit removed by the chains. It was lovely.

Please support this pub, because if you don't, you'll be lucky to find...

We visited this pub late Sunday afternoon. It's best described as a "locals pub" where both the other patrons and staff clearly viewed our presence as an intrusion to be warded off rather than paying customers to be welcomed. The lady serving couldn’t have been less welcoming and kept communication and eye contact to a minimum. We took the hint and left after one drink. Avoid this place and take your business to somewhere that’s...
