We stopped here for breakfast on the way through to Rudding Park in Harrogate. We needed some food having left home early. I had passed this lovely looking bakery multiple times on the way to the office; but it can be tricky to stop at a busy time.

I was hopeful of getting a bacon roll or similar and was not disappointed at all. This as I had perceived is a lovely little bakery offering some gorgeous looking cakes, bakes and pastries.

I had the bacon roll whilst the wife had the bacon and sausage roll because she couldn’t decide between the two! Both rolls were excellent quality, you can tell the ingredients are sourced locally.

We also had a couple of coffees, I loved my mocha but the wife said her coffee wasn’t up to much. Despite that we both really enjoyed our brekafast rolls, wanting to come back to get some cake in future.

We pass through Stamford Bridge weekly but this was only our second visit to The Square Bakehouse. I don't know why we don't stop here more often! The food is all delicious and cooked to order. The staff are friendly. We usually eat our goodies in the car but seating is available outdoors. The only complaint is that the coffee cups are small. But I've kept the review at 5 stars as the food makes up for it! I should also mention that the owners are geeks! See if you can spot the Tardis, the Harry Potter newspaper and many...

Lovely to sit outside in the sun, apart from the ridiculously busy traffic at Stamford Bridge. Very good granary roll with chicken, cheese, BBQ sauce etc ordered from the hot menu but came cold - still very good. Regular white Americano was disappointing as smaller than a regular size, and the coffee itself was poor quality - maybe a one-off. Seem to have a wide range of tempting...
