I'm a bit of a pizza freak. I've made my own for years. Ive been coming to St Ives since year dot and it's the first time we have tried the St Ives Pizza Company. Wish we had tried them much earlier. Ian has put his culinary skills to great use with the various pizza combinations he has produced. The Kids love them. The better half loves them and I love them. I'd like to think I was a good judge. They do good deals and the slaw is lovely too.
The Porthmeor was my favourite of the bunch, but I really couldn't fault any of them. The Digey was my other halfs favourite. We tried the Creet one night and it was a cracking mix of Indian ingredients.
Nice one Ian. We will be back. Can you open one up back in Kent ??? 😀
2021 update* Well we chose to come in the busiest period I have ever witnessed in St Ives.
It's a little uncomfortable as we haven't been for 2 years due to the pandemic. Resteraunts are booked for weeks in advance and there are so many people. We always visit this little business at least twice on our holidays and never have been disappointed. Again we can't fault this place. We even had a delivery to carbis bay and it was piping hot. Beautiful handmade pizzas with lovely flavours.
We have never been dissapointed.
I really can't understand how someone can leave 1 star because they couldn't get a pizza. The shop shuts at 8. That's the way it is. It's the busiest summer for St Ives in as long as I can remember and I usually come 2 or 3 times a year because half of the family are here. If you tried Dominos an hour or so before it closes and can get through they will never take on orders that take them past their closing time. I wonder if the 1 star awardees tried to get a table in a local restaurant too? They are booked for 2 weeks straight most of them.
Anyway I don't think it's cool to leave 1 star because you tried to order at a very busy time and this small family business couldn't accommodate.
If you decided today that you wanted a new popular car you'd be waiting for many weeks. It's supply and demand. You wouldn't then leave a bad review for the car company would you?
I say to any potential customer, try this place if you want a decent pizza. They have unusual but lovely flavours to suit all. Be aware that they are very popular and St Ives is heaving so if you want a pizza get in early to avoid disappointment.
For me, they are always helpful, lovely and have spot on pizzas.

Read moreHad no interest in supplying a pizza during there opening times as they had to do too many, so my kids missed out! Don't have opening times til 8 in that case have them until 7pm. Rubbish Customer service. Gave them a 2nd chance Tuesday after let down at weekend. On beach order ready, no one there on phone and website not taking orders from 5pm when they should be open. Went to Pels instead!!!
Your response clearly proves what I said. Dont assume everyone has social media. I don't! Your website says nothing at all or your telephone system. In regards to bullying don't make me laugh, they clearly have your attitude and 'its not your problem' as you state, which is obviously great customer service. What you fail to realise is how many customers I've sent to you, but if its not your problem then...
Read moreA hidden gem. You don't expect top quality pizza from a takeaway on an industrial estate - let alone equally good salad! - but that's what we got. The pepperoni, chili and chorizo pizza lived up to its ingredients. If you've arrived in St Ives after a long drive and aren't liking the idea of forcing yourself out to eat, call these guys.
If anyone buys Domino's in their service area they should be arrested for crimes...
