I can’t say enough great things about this incredible restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff was not only attentive and courteous, but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and accommodating all our requests with grace.
Now, the food—absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was a burst of authentic flavor, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. You can tell every dish is crafted with passion and care.
But what truly sets this place apart is the chef. The culinary artistry here is on another level. It’s clear the chef is not only highly skilled but also deeply passionate about the cuisine. We even had the pleasure of meeting the chef briefly, and his humble demeanor and love for Indian cooking made the experience even more special.
This restaurant isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to enjoy, celebrate, and savor. Whether you’re a lifelong fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this spot is an absolute must-visit. We’ll definitely...
Read moreThis was my regular Indian takeaway many many years ago and it was always fantastic. So, when back in the UK this week for a short visit I decided to order a takeaway. Big mistake.... It was probably the worst Indian meal I've ever eaten. Went on a Sunday night, restaurant was nearly empty, overheard the waitress say that the chef had been given the night off. Immediately realised that I was in trouble! Some observations:
-It was expensive. Too much sauce but enough meat -It was generally way too sweet, like main and dessert in one. Yeah this is the BIR style but I've never eaten one as sweet as this before. -The chicken tikka masala was a case of spot the meat. It looked like tomato soup with an occasional piece of chicken floating in it. -Jalfrezi was OK -Rogan Josh was meh -Lamb chops were over cooked
Overall a huge disappointment, will never visit...
Read moreI have eaten at all of the Indians in Barton, mainly the one opposite this one (won't mention names). We got a takeaway the other day as we thought we would try it as it's relatively new. We both got a chicken tikka masala (we are practically tikka connoisseurs) and honestly, it was the best tikka I've ever had. The chicken had been flame grilled like it's supposed to be, and it literally melted in the mouth, it was so juicy and tender I've never had chicken like it before. I genuinely have never had an Indian as nice as this one and we have Indians all the time! The naan breads and keema rices were on point. Chips were lovely too. Genuinely the best Indian in Barton and I won't be visiting any other Indians in Barton other than this one ever again! Would recommend this one over any in...
