Service was quick, very professional and polite. Enjoyed a large black coffee which was spot on and was tempted by the coconut tart. Was surprised by the tart. The pastry was well cooked, the contents not too sweet and a good sized portion. Looking forward to popping in for more tasty treats served with a smile.

Called in for lunch as we had been heading to a nearby cafe which was closed. What a lovely menu, lots of alternatives to the usual offerings. Suitable for vegetarians but not exclusively veggie. I had a dipping plate. Salad with dressing, a stack of carrot and cucumber sticks, pitta bread, a bowl of olives, halloumi (my friend ate that for me), garlic bread and some dips. All delicious. A little more houmus would have been nice. I was almost put off going in by notices asking you to pay in cash. This must deter lots of potential customers as many people just don't carry cash now. Anyway it was fine because they do...

We had 3 breakfasts and one jacket potato with sides. It was cooked just perfectly. Bacon was the nicest I've tasted for a long while. Food was presented on the plate very nicely, it wasn't a mix mess. There's nothing very special about the decor but we go because the staff are friendly, the food is always excellent and the cakes, all home made just perfectly delicious. Well...

Took our little granddaughter there today and all the staff were really lovely, couldn’t have been more helpful. Let her choose her plate colour, provided toddler cutlery, and asked if anything needed to be changed to suit her tastes. Food is always first class but this was first visit for her and we’d certainly take her...
