⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A True Gem – The Vine Inn The Vine pub & restaurant is an absolute delight — a perfect blend of traditional charm and welcoming hospitality. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a cozy, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food is excellent — hearty pub classics done right, with a few creative surprises on the menu. Everything is clearly made with care, using fresh, quality ingredients. The Sunday roast is especially worth mentioning — generous portions, perfectly cooked meats, and rich gravy that pulls it all together. Service is attentive but never intrusive, and the staff go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and well taken care of. The drinks selection is impressive too — a great range of local ales, beers, and a well-curated wine list. Whether you’re stopping by for a pint with friends or enjoying a full family meal, The Vine Inn strikes the perfect balance of comfort, quality, and great value. Highly recommended.

Had a great introduction to ‘The Vine’ on Friday the staff are very friendly and pleasant, super dog friendly too. The food was amazing, chicken mango curry was great and the pie, pork, cider and mustard was tasty, the fishcakes delicious too. Everything was that good we booked a table for Sunday lunch (booking recommended). Sunday roast small was enough for me and I love a big plate. We had beef, lamb and pork between us, all cleaned the plates. Would have licked them but too many people around. Advice book a table but the staff will try and fit you in.

Stopped in with the intention of eating but were a bit too early as food starts from 6pm. Had a couple of drinks to kill some time before taking the ferry back to the mainland. The ambience was somewhat spoilt by some local drunken idiots who were f’ing and blinding as one of them had had some run in with a woman and seemed to want to voice his view on the matter to the world. The pub looks quite nice and the pint of London Pride Beer I had seemed well kept. There was a fairly comprehensive specials board in addition to the normal menu.
