The Wheatsheaf — Restaurant in England

What a total disgrace the food and service was , weve been there a number of times prior today for the carvery and the food was spot on ,when the other chef was there with mousey coloured hair unfortunately we don't know his name today we got there at 12 20 and no veg left bearing in mind we were told they start serving at 12 had to wait Inthe mean time the meat and pud was getting cold. The qeue was getting bigger all wiating for veg ,had to have Sunday lunch with no mash as it took that long the veg we did get after a Good 10min wiating was under cooked and hard and it was (I'm a chef and have been for 37yrs )so I know in my personal opinion if this is the best they can do on the easiest meal of the day then my best advice would be to close the kitchen indefenately and the person responsible for the kitchen should be sacked that was one of the worst ever experiences I've had and it cost us £32 sadly we...

Went for a Sunday carvery for 2. They prefer you to book but accommodated us once we asked for a table. There was a bit of a wait to get food ordered but it was certainly worth the wait.
