I've noticed that these reviews are mostly from people who stay or have food. ||||The experience I've had in this establishment is as follows; the landlord lets his favourite regulars run roughshod over people unfavourably, and any response to this gets a ban. ||||I put on a song on their jukebox, and was quickly accosted by one of his regulars with him saying "you put on this ffing sht on didn't you". Nothing was done for this abuse, and I left the night early.||||Another occasion I went in with my girlfriend. We went to have a game of pool and a woman grabbed my partners breasts, nothing was done about that so sexual assault is fine in that pub. That said woman later was grabbing me and pulling me to dance with her, I asked for help. I had none.||||I declined a person a game of pool; I was shouted and balled at, again nothing said by the professional landlord.||||I declined a person a game of pool on a different occasion because of his attitude early on in the evening, and that I didn't want to have to teach him how to play the new rules of pool, he sworn at me, and through all the abuse I've had in that pub, I made a fatal mistake of swearing back at the abuser. A ban for me.||||Small pub, very clicky regulars. Recommend the crown inn about 20 seconds walk up the road. ||||Hope the landlord goes out of business soon and someone with some half decent sense can take over. The rest of the...

Read moreWell...what to say?. This place is a gem! On holiday with my wife and little lad (5) and popped in for a meal, i can honestly say it was faultless!. The food was absolutely beautiful and the chips! My god the chips :) even my lad ate it all and he's a typical 5 year old and normally leaves half a plate.
A real lovely traditional country feel pub, the staff (Jess) were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much, even brought the boy some crayons and put his picture on the wall which made him so happy and kept saying that he loved that lady :)
If you're in the area I'd definitely recommend a visit.
Thank you!
