The Risotto ai frutti di mare at Villa Verde in Wellington is a seafood lover's dream come true! 🦐🐟 This dish is an absolute extravaganza of flavours and textures. Imagine sea bass, king prawns, squid, and mussels cooked to absolute perfection, all embracing the saffron-infused risotto. It's a symphony of taste!

The blend of saffron, parsley, garlic, and just a hint of chili adds a depth of flavours that dance on your palate with each bite. The seafood is tender, the risotto perfectly creamy, and every element harmonizes beautifully to create a culinary masterpiece.

If you're in Wellington and have a love for seafood, this dish at Villa Verde is an absolute must-try. It's a testament to their expertise in combining fresh ingredients with skilful cooking techniques. Bravo to Villa Verde for delivering such a mouth-watering, delightful...

Fantastic food here. Even on a busy night it wasn't delayed. The waiter was very attentive despite being swamped with customers.

Its not the cheapest place to eat in the Wellington area.

I don't think it's neccesary to charge a surplus on the pints to be around £4-6 a pint, given that the rest of Wellington is an average of £2 cheaper on that front. I think they could benefit from reassessing that to better match the area.

The food itself is around £4-6 more expensive (very averaged) than other pubs and eateries in the Wellington area. But in this case you are most certainly getting value for money. The menu is incredibly expansive, more choice than you'd know what to do with.

Would recommend for special occasions as a great spot to eat that's new...

So we tried out the lovely restaurant and there was 5 of us and £200 later we went home. Food excellent service excellent so why only 3 stars!! Well our party of ranged from 84 77 53 37 and a 14 year old and all the different dishes were excellent but. So after mains and puddings we left feeling very disappointed and hungry. Portion sizes are very mean but clever as the owner knows how to squeeze the most out of every customer , if you order a main and your 8 years old or had a gastric band your probably be ok, or just add £100 to your bill and go for starters and add side dishes .

If the portions that should be served were there I would of given a five star , so a bit of constructive criticism. Michael angellos western supermarket is the...

Open, angular, wood panelled establishment with a light, cosmopolitan, pleasant atmosphere. Service punctual and accurate without being over-bearing. Extensive and varied menu, it was difficult to decide but something for everyone, probably. We had pizza (thin and well topped, proper pizza) and the perfectly cooked sea bass with a good portion size that arrived quickly. Really, really good coffee. Price comparable and well worth it. We’ve been before and will be going again. The only thing I would change is the music, it did feel like a CD of Eurovision failures at one point but I probably wouldn’t have noticed so much if I wasn’t sitting under a speaker.

Villa Verde opened in February and so far I have visited 4 times. I am never disappointed. The welcome you get when you walk in the door is second to none. The food is absolutely amazing, everything I have eaten there so far has never been disappointing. The last visit we had was for a work colleague to celebrate his birthday, I took along a cake and the staff were very accommodating and kept it in the back for us and when it was brought out it was accompanied by some of the kitchen staff singing happy birthday. The staff are all welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is a lovely one.
