I’ve visited this place several times, and unfortunately, the customer service has consistently fallen short. Staff often seem rushed and borderline rude, which is surprising given the claims of long-standing experience on their website. It’s a real shame, because the location itself is lovely - charming outdoor seating and quirky touches like the Tardis-style toilet make it feel special. The food is decent, and drinks are fine, but the atmosphere can be disrupted by staff loudly calling out order names, which makes it hard to relax or hold a conversation. Accessibility is another issue. I didn’t see any wheelchair-accessible toilets, and there are no baby changing facilities, which makes visits with small children quite challenging. I was once offered a bench in the summer house to change my baby, but that space is shared with other customers, and to top it off, a staff member loudly told me not to leave a used nappy behind. Not exactly the kind of tone you’d expect in a family-friendly setting. Overall, while the location has charm, the lack of thoughtful service and basic amenities makes it hard to...

We visited the railway cafe today, where we go twice a week but this is the second time in less than a month we have been treated appalling by the same member of staff, a tall, slim, short blonde bob hairstyle (maybe the manager) I purchased a round of drinks for us all including myself and also asked for a small cup of hot water, to which I was rudely shouted out infront of other customers , asking me why I wanted this. I felt extremely embarrassed by her actions. Whilst I was sat drinking my drink one of her colleagues came over to me telling me I am no longer to ask for a cup of hot water. I have found this is very bad customer.service as again, I always buy a drink when we visit . for a very pleasant cafe it's a shame this member of staff whom I believe is the manager feels it's acceptable to speak to her...

I have been stopping at this cafe for many years and have thoroughly enjoyed every hot drink and piece of cake. However the last few times I have been attacked by dogs without even an apology from the dog owners. I have reported this to the cafe management but I only received the usual "we welcome everyone". Just some observations: if you look at the published photos, like on the website, you will not see a dog whereas, in reality, there are always lots of dogs in the cafe. dogs were always excluded from cafes and restaurants for hygiene reasons, and some eating places still maintain these standards - this cafe does not. "dog friendly" really means we welcome dog owners because if we didn't then we might miss out on some custom - dog friendly =...

Brilliant selection of Gluten-free food here at this beautiful little cafe on the cycle path! They are happy to swap the bread to gluten free on any of their dishes that have bread (I decided to have the smashed avacado and egg on toast - yum!) and they also have jacket potatoes available too if you don’t fancy bread but want a savoury lunch! They also serve ice creams and lollies too. Alternative milks on offer are oat milk and soya milk! Such a beautiful setting with lots of seating surrounded by beautiful flowers, fantastic service, the staff were really friendly and informative and I’ll 1000% be returning here with friends and family! There’s also a customer toilet that’s inside a tardis in the garden that’s really well maintained! Brilliant!

Hidden gem cafe in Warmley’s old train station along the Bristol-Bath cycle route. There is plenty of outdoor seating, with some areas under cover if the weather is bad. The place is decorated lovely with bunting and plenty of flowers and plants. Dogs are also welcome. The menu has a good selection of hot and cold snacks, drinks and cream tea (which was delicious). Cream tea was Ā£6.70 for two scones and a hot drink. If there is a queue to order, don’t be alarmed as it goes down fairly quickly and food/drinks are served within good time. There’s a small car park next door which is free on Sundays and I believe there is a small charge other days. It does fill up quickly! PS - For any Doctor Who fans there is a tardis toilet!!

Came across this whilst traveling through the area and decided to stop for a light lunch. A somewhat random mix of gazebo style outdoor seating spaces, and one ā€˜waiting room’ style warmer building with 5 tables inside (we were fortunate to find a space in the latter as it was cold and wet outside). Food was surprisingly quick considering how busy it was and perfectly acceptable. Lots of speciality hot drinks and tasty cakes if that’s your thing. Clearly popular with cyclists and walkers/dogs as a good footpath / cycle route. Worth walking over the road to the original signal box, open most Saturday afternoons from 2pm.
