On our doorstep and great place to enjoy the start of Bristol's NE greenbelt. It is fairly small in its own right but has extensive links to other areas (Siston Common & Overcourt Woods) and beyond if looking to explore further. It has some great views, Aspire running events now and again, orienteering, a new skate park tucked out of sight and the grass is mown to keep paths walkable. Read moreIts a good place to getaway from the noisy city centre. Warmley is a beautiful town and the park isnt left out. Saw lots of people walking their dogs which means it is ideal for dog walking. I also enjoyed the fact that it is natural and had my quiet time with nature. Also noticed few restaurants not far from the park as well as a beautiful neighbourhood (Francis way) and even wandered into Wells Heath on the other side of the road. We discovered it by chance whilst walking our dog along the railway path. There are plenty of different paths to follow si it never gets too predictable for our dog. There are also plenty of benches for a quick sit down when required.
I just wish I could work out what the large tarmac area was originally...
