Lovely, arty place for a slow lunch! We visited on a Saturday afternoon at 2.15 and it was gorgeous weather to sit outside amongst the mosaics. There are plenty of seats inside if the weather doesn't play along. Waitresses were friendly. You order at the till, they give you a number to take to your table and then they bring your food. Great choices of food, though our original choice was not available anymore. The substitute was delicious. We had sweet chilli chicken with cheese and chicken tikka (both in a wrap) with cole slaw and crisps. The wraps were toasted so more flat than round and easy to hold and eat. Delicious! Toilets were spotless and with cute wall hangings. Lovely place, I'll visit again if in the area.

Don't judge the book by it's cover! While perhaps looking a little mundane from its frontal exterior, this lovely cafe really is a hidden gem! For me, apart from the gorgeous food (I stopped for breakfast which was fantastic, but the home made cakes looked amazing...) the real place where White Stones shines is the garden. This is clearly a labour of love, and a beautiful hidden oasis. Anyone with a love for good food, friendly service, with an appreciation for creativity should make a point of checking this place out if you're in the area.

Wonderful hidden gem! I really enjoyed my iced coffee in the garden. I chose to eat the goats cheese and chilli jam toastie. It was a little too hot for my taste but delicious. I shall choose something else next time. I'm looking forward to the Workshop re-opening so that I can can learn something new, with others. So glad my friend introduced me to this Art Cafe. Thanks Lynne. X

What a gem of a cafe this is. I never thought it would be as it was when we looked for somewhere to have a coffee and a bite of lunch. Despite us thinking we may be sat at the tables at the pavement shop front, the garden behind has been turned into a mosaic Greek taverna style escape. I cannot express my positive experience here. Despite there being an absolute downpour the covered area made sure we stayed dry. Fab food and drinks. Coffee great in proper big mugs, great food including quiche and panini for us, finished off by a fantastic cake which we took away. I cannot recommend this little gem enough. The staff were brilliant...
