Okay food but delivery is a bit of a joke. Over 1 hour for delivery when i live a few roads away( turned out to be around 1 hour 30 minutes)

Edit: After trying to contact them for a while, finally got through to the owner. When I had the issue on the 29th of decemeber, whoever I spoke to advised they will refund me and I can keep the food since it took over an hour and a half ( i said to cancel the order as its taking too long and tbey kept telling me it was comng when it wasnt) this was on the 29th of December. Now spoke to the owner who advised that they don't give a refund and best they can do is have 20% off my order. Also seemed quite rude the fact I already left my review too. Fine by me the food isn't that amazing anyways. Have your 1* review. I've got a call recording of the call in question of the staff telling me they will refund me AND to take my food, but apparently its not something they do since I've already left my review. WOULD GIVE YOU TEN STARS IF I COULD! Have been getting take away from Hillside Tandoori Loughton for many years and its our go-to basic curry. You get what you pay for! Last week we ordered and noticed a snazzy new website with some amazing new dishes! All i can say is the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! SO so so tasty and fresh and was delivered in under 30 minutes! Me and my wife noticed the difference straight away as Hillside usually use the typical silver foil boxes which always leak and spillover. This time we had our food delivered in a clear containers with each dish written on the top. The portions were really good and the flavour was the best we have eaten in a long time! Best Indian takeaway I've had in years. The Dansak was actually a Dansak and had lentils in and was sour and sweet with the right amount of heat and consistency. Plus it was the right colour, as opposed to others where the usual formulaic curry sauce is served up with a bit of tinkering to make it look a bit like the requested dish. Presentation was as good as I've seen and the food was ready when I turned up. The salad to go with the lamb chops starter even had pomegranate in it.
