We can't thank Mary and her staff enough!
For our wedding we were staying at the Roydon Marina Village, with our wedding venue being The Barns at Lodge Farm. The Roydon Marina Village is a 10min walk from The New Inn pub. So we decided to hold a pre-wedding meal for our Bridal Party at the New Inn (approx 35 people), and a wedding party the day after the wedding (approx 60 people) at the pub too. Mary was an absolute star throughout.
We pre-ordered the food for the night before so everything ran smoothly, and we held an Irish themed day for the party after the wedding in the pub garden, including an Irish band. The pub garden is huge, with lovely lighting and a small park at the back for kids to play in. It was a perfect setting for our parties.
Mary was so helpful throughout and nothing was too much to ask. They also put on a buffet for the party and we had access to a private room for guests to put their bags and coats in, free of charge. Everything was perfect, we all had a great time.
Thanks again Mary, we'll be back to see you all...

And the roast dinner? Surprisingly good, well cooked and tasty, and the staff did everything they could to make our meal a very pleasant one. Which it turned out to be.
I really enjoyed this meal, the pub is cosy and very much a local country pub with many regular returning customers. And I'm not surprised at that now.
It's well worth a...
