An unexpected pleasure!!! The pub is in an old building, and frankly, it looks run down from the ouside street view, but don't let that fool you.
Publican, who is, apparently, Turkish served us himself from a decent selection of beers and ciders. My friend who had selected the location for a stop on our cycle ride had informed me of the Turkish connection and the fact that there was Turkish good on the menu. Both of us took that option for our lunch.
Food arrivef promptly and was good, actually, I should say it was excellent value even though I thought I'd over ordered as the portion of chips I had with my meal seemed huge but I managed to eat it all.

The fish was very well cooked, skin crispy and well salted while the pork belly was so tender the knife remained untouched. The poached eggs added to the flavour of the fish perfectly
