Millie's Restaurant — Restaurant in Erewash

I attended the restaurant this afternoon with my partner her son and her mother. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by a young lady who had an attitude. She was rude, telling my partners mother that she could not sit at a table until it had been sanitised even though there was a total clean table next to the one she couldn't be bothered to clean. As the staff member walked back to her station she stood staring at our group bad mouthing us to her colleague who happened to be her mother. I did not take well to this and walked up to her and explained that her attitude was uncalled for. She stated that she was sorry but had not meant to display such a poor attitude!

Call me a cynic but she then proceded to continue staring at our group while bad mouthing ourselves to the kitchen staff who came out of the kitchen to stare at us too. By this time another waitress had taken our order and when the food arrived I was totally shocked to find what appeared to be curly pubic hair on my plate...This was found as the original waitress was placing the food on the table! Needless to say I refused a replacement and asked for my money back!

This was the worst experience eating out that I have ever had. Be warned ... If the young waitress is in a bad mood keep your thoughts to yourself or you may get more than...

We were yold that they was not cooking hot food due to the heat, ordered soup and a sandwich meal and two cans of cold drink, we waited around ten mins for the two drinks, brought out a normal tango instead of diet, changed but brought out a dark fruits. Food came out after another 15 mins. ( how long does it take to make a cheese ham and tomato sandwich and microwave some soup up) soup should have had croutons but not, it was microwaved in the bowl because the bowl and soup on the outside was bubbling but centre was cool. Sandwich was ok but was expensive for £7 something. Service was not good, the three ladies/girls seemed to be talking rather than working. It was 14.00 so would have thought the lunch time rush was over. Don't think i would go again, prob use the Junction cafe across the...

Ordered 3 drinks, 2 toasted sandwiches on brown bread and a teacake. After 10 minutes the drinks arrived and we were then charged for the food and drinks. Another 25 minutes passed and we enquired on the food situation to be asked again what we had ordered. We then got a sort of apology and an excuse about a table number mix up, and told it would be a few minutes. Another 30 minutes passed and we were presented with the food. The toasted sandwiches however were on white bread, not brown as ordered but by this time I was already late for an appointment and we hadn't got time to wait any longer so just ate it and left.
