Went to sit at a table and it was dirty, asked for a cloth so I could clean it, waited and she carried on serving customers, asked again and she went and got a cloth. Then she came over and cleaned it, I thanked her and she just walked off, not happy. Then got my coffee, i left it a few minutes and had a sip, it actually burn all the front of my tongue, gave it back to another young server and no apology.. I love my coffee hot and sometimes ask for it to be extra hot, but didnāt on this occasion, it was so much hotter than when I do ask for it to be extra hot. I went back to pick my coffee up, as she called me, she said, hereās your coffee, you donāt like it too hot, I said yes I do like it hot, but this has burnt me. She just looked at me and very nonchalantly, said oh sorry about that Honestly, she couldnāt be bothered. She just looked bored and no customer service skills what so ever. Often when we go out I need to get the order done, get her to a table, move around some chairs and then go back for the order. The server at Costa offered to bring over our drinks and then she moved a chair out the way so I could maneuver the wheelchair in place. It's not a huge thing, but it makes all the difference after a long hot day of hauling the wheelchair in and out of cars and struggling to move around tight spaces.
